Line Shaft Sounds

12 line shaft sound effects to download in both mp3 and wav formats. We were lucky enough to be invited to Olds Engineering, a mechanical engineering factory and foundry based in Maryborough in Queensland, Australia. The factory dates back over 100 years and they have retained some of the traditional production methods from years gone by. This really was an Aladdin's Cave of sounds and we spent two days there recording everything we could. This pack features the sounds of their old line shaft, a series of chains and belts that are used to power the many tools and machines used on a daily basis. You'll find mechanical belt sounds starting up, operating and switching off, the whirring and clicking sounds of the belts as they move over a thick layer of grease. If you need factory sounds, these are perfect, or also good as conveyor belt sound effects too. Feel free to also use these as source material for designing your own sounds for your projects.
