I appreciate your donation to help me keep zapsplat.com a free and growing resource. By making a donation to upgrade to a Gold Account with us, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below:
1) The Agreement
You agree to allow us to debit your nominated PayPal account, bank account, credit or debit card, the fee, the amount chosen by you which entitles you to receive all the benefits of a Gold account on a monthly or yearly recurring basis. We will continue to debit the fee/donation from your account until you cancel it, or instruct us to do so via email. Users who do not cancel a donation subscription shall be deemed to wish to continue their subscription with us until they the member cancels it.
2) The Term
The term of this agreement refers to the start date (the initial donation payment) to the end date (the end of the upgraded period once a cancellation of donation subscription has been made).
3) Refunds and Cancellations
We are happy to refund a donation within 24 hours of payment. We require you to email us to request a refund. Refunds of a donation will downgrade your account immediately to a Basic Account and all rights and privileges associated with the Gold Account are revoked for the refunded period. We shall not be required to provide a refund in part or whole for any subscribed month or year outside of the initial donation period where the member has not cancelled their subscription.
You are responsible for the cancellation of your donation subscription which you can do here at any time.
4) Failed Payments
If for any reason your recurring donation subscription fails (due to insufficient funds, a change of details or any other reason), PayPal and Stripe will attempt the payment again (up to 5 times). Any missed/failed payments that occur between the initial failure and successful collection will also be charged in one payment. You are liable to pay any missed/failed payments that occur within this period.
5) Gold Account and Sound Usage
Any sound effect(s) or music track(s) downloaded within the Gold account upgrade period can be used attribution/credit free, this attribution removal stays with the sound(s) for life and can be used in unlimited works, even if the user account is downgraded to a Basic account after donation subscription cancellation. Any sound files downloaded after downgrade are once again subject to all terms of our Standard License
You can use sounds downloaded from your Gold Account in works for or works sold to third parties, subject to the terms of our Standard License Agreement.
The Single User option covers a single user downloading and editing our sounds on 1 workstation and one back-up device for unlimited projects.
The Multi User option covers multiple persons (you must select the number of users on upgrade) downloading and editing our sounds on 1 workstation per person and one back-up device per person for unlimited projects.
You may not sell, rent, loan, distribute or share any upgraded account with any other person. If you've selected the Multi User option for x number of people, only those people can login and use our service and sounds. You must add or remove the number of persons on your upgrade if your users grow or reduce by cancelling your subscription and setting a new one.
6) Education Facilities
Education facilities can upgrade for £200 GBP per year on a recurring basis (cancel anytime). This upgrade allows unlimited students and teachers to access a single upgraded account. Only students and teachers currently enrolled or employed at the facility are granted access to this upgraded account. We may require proof of educational status.
- It is the responsibility of the educational facility to communicate these Terms and our License Agreement to the students and teachers given access to the ZapSplat.com library via an upgraded account.
- Students and teachers must not share the login information with any other person outside of the facility. If an account login is shared outside of the facility with non-enrolled or employed persons, we reserve the right to cancel or suspend the upgraded account. In such a case, we will work with the facility to resolve the situation and ensure a swift return to upgraded service.
- We ask that the account password be updated at least once per 12 months.
